QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Our significant manufacturing steps are briefly described below:
MATERIAL TESTING
Purchased raw materials undergo thorough testing under PQA authority. A stringent quality control policy ensures that the standard of steel aligns with desired specifications, a pivotal factor in our business.
FORGING & HAMMERING
Following testing, stainless steel strips/bars are divided into various sizes based on our requirements. Our highly skilled craftsmen specialize in forging (Hot/Cold Drop) and performing standard press operations in forming and deep drawing. The forging is annealed, preparing it for the milling process.
MACHINE AND TOOL WORK
Our highly skilled technicians possess profound knowledge of the machine milling process. Accurately forming male/female portions of box-joint forceps, serrations/ratchets are achieved with uniformity. Our capabilities include milling, drilling, boring, turning, and grinding of all metals. In-house facilities for custom tool and die production, maintenance, and repair are at our disposal.
FILLING
Specializing in handmade fabrication, we meticulously assemble male/female portions, adjusting extracting forceps and scissors. Tips, serrations, and ratchets are precisely filed to semi-finish under stringent quality control specifications.
HEAT TREATMENT
All instruments undergo tempering to maintain “Rock-Well Hardness.” For extracting forceps and retractors, hardness is maintained at 45° to 50° degrees, while gauges and scalpel hardness range from 50° to 55° degrees. Hardness is tested after tempering each lot to ensure uniformity. Before proceeding, instruments are cleaned with various chemicals.
RIVETING & WELDING
A diverse range of assembly operations is performed, including precise riveting for instruments like extracting forceps and retractors. Spot welding is utilized for certain instrument types.
GRINDING & POLISHING
For precise grinding and an excellent finish, polishing wheels to belts enhances overall uniformity. Electroplating plants are employed for polishing serrations/ratchets and joints of stainless-steel instruments. Glass heads are used for satin/mat finish instruments to achieve uniformity. All instruments undergo polishing under stringent quality control specifications.
PASSIVATION
This method provides instruments with corrosion resistance properties. Following final polishing, passivation involves a chemical bath creating an oxidized layer on
